murmur toronto & walking

I went to a talk today and discovered something entirely new: an oral history project that started in Toronto (but has now also moved to other places) that records idiosyncratic and unusual histories of places and streets that you can listen to on your cell phone as you walk. And one of Peter G's favourite things would mesh nicely with murmur (if only he lived in Toronto or one of the cities where murmur exists): "doing a 'walkabout' - walking out of our front door and, for the next few hours, following my curiosity wherever it takes me."
